This is the pitch for my short film which I'm doing to make this half of term. Considering that its length should be no more than 5 minutes, not too much happens. The film is a melodrama and includes male protagonist who falls into a girl who was walking nearby and and offers a date in a cafe. On the following day the pair meets in the cafe and have a conversation about their personal life, they are both having a good time. In the last scene the boy and girl are leaving the cafe and both agree that they enjoyed a lot and look forward to meet again. Then the male character returns home and falls on the bed with a smile on his face.
The establishing shots were made in London during the half-term but the rest will be shot in Ellesmere College where I study at.
The big inspiration on coming up with the idea of the film was the 1966 album ''Pet Sounds'' which was largely linked to topics about love relationship between two teenagers.
Talking about the target audience, this will be the people of my age, mostly the teenagers who start the relationship with their halves. This type of audience does not really attend the prestige festivals like Berlin, Cannes, Venice etc. so it would be better to upload my film straight on Youtube.
